The first week of the Bitmob High Score Challenge went rather terribly. I was in the lead for a lot of it and then Matt Giguere  decided to be an ass and beat my score at the last second. 

Actually, it was a very good back and forth and the fact that it went down to the wire made it almost exciting as a Curling match -- as if that is even possible. 

The image to the right represents the final scores. Not everyone was actively going after the top score, but thanks to everyone who gave it a shot. 

Now it is time to move on to next week's Challenge.

Where: Kongregate.com Click through to go straight to the game. It is also available on iPhone and iPod Touch. Just twitter your scores and link them in the comments if you think they are high enough.

What You'll Win: Validation. Training for the inevitable giant robot attack. Bragging rights.

How to Join: Please feel free to become a part of this. There is no special initiation, club, or dues that have to be paid. We want as many people participating as possible. Just get a Kongregate account -- if you don't already -- and put your info in the comments. 

This is the second week of this High Score Challenge and it is the second time we are using Kongregate, but we will be using Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network games in the very near futre, and potentially Facebook games.

In fact, next week we are going to have the First Annual George Costanza Classic. A week long High Score Challenge dedicated to Frogger! You have fair warning. 

If you want to compete in the GCC, then you need to get your e-monies together and buy it for XBLA or PSN. If it is on another service please just let me know.
