Oh wait, is that the headline we wrote? It was supposed to be "Mobcast Wins CastMedium Podcast Award!!!" Ah, well. Can't change it now.

Anyway, it's true, the Mobcast won the Best Format category in CastMedium's Podcast Awards '09 -- respect and better-luck-next-times to runner-up Drunken Gamers Radio.

Other winners include Robert Ashley's A Life Well Wasted for Best Produced (with CO-OP as runner-up), Rebel FM for Best New Podcast, and Giant Bombcast for the big 'un, Best Podcast.

Congrats on the award! I don't listen to podcasts frequently, but the Mobcast is one of my favorites. It made grinding in old-school RPGs so much better.
