"This game is so hot!"

"e been playing this game a lot lately at work but not on Kongregate. Last week my personal high score was over 22,000m. I'm not sure if that's good enough to compete or not but I'll try for it again. My Kongregate ID is w0Ot (spelled w-zero-letter"

"hris Davidson- That's a really cool idea, I wonder if it would be possible for Prima or another strategy guide company to make deals with Publishers to develop DLC guide plugins that you could actually access while in game. I know I'd probably buy them over paper guides due to convenience and the amount of gaming I do at night.
My purchasing of strategy guides has really diminished in the last few years, partially due to the ease of use and affordability of online guides and partially due to the increase in game costs. I'm not complaining about how expensive games have become in the last few years, and part of it is my own fault as I'm a sucker for the various special editions which seem to come out with every game that releases now. But due to the extra cost of purchasing said special editions it would be nigh impossible to convince my wife that I should be spending an additional $20-$30 per game on the accompanying strategy guides.
Another thing that I've noticed in the last few guides I have purchased is the amount of errors that were in them. With my LBP guide I spent hours looking for certain hidden bubbles that weren't actually where the guide said they were. It's a minor complaint but when I spent $20 on a guide to help me on a game I didn't expect to encounter e"

"e recently experienced something similar, I had decided I wanted to play ME1 again prior to the sequel's release and decided to play a Paragon Soldier. I ended up only getting a few hours into the game but I just was not having fun making the nice guy choices. When ME2 came to my door I put it in and decided to continue from my initial ME1 playthrough which was a Renegade Vanguard. I am having an absolute blast playing the game this way. Bioware has done something really great with the morality system in this game. It's a lot more subtle and elegant as others have stated. So far the way I've been playing is by being nice to my friends and a dick to everyone else, but last time I played I ran into something very surprising. It's was during an interaction with a crew member who I'm usually very nice to and I decided to choose the Renegade option. At first I was kind of bummed out because the way Shepherd game off was more dickish than I had wanted, but then it ended up being a joke. It almost felt as if the game knew how I wanted to interact with the characters Shepherd was speaking with.
Now I've been wondering if there are different layers within the Renegade options or if this was just a very good illusion that Bioware has crafted. Did the way I treated these characters in the past subtly affect how they "took" my Renegade comment, or is this purely just a canned system and you will always receive the same results when choosing the Renegade option no matter how you've treated these characters in the past?
Well if anyone actually made it through my poorly organized rambling thoughts congratulations and my sincerest apol"

"as looking forward to Borderlands ever since I first read about it in the Game Informer way back in 2007 I think it was. Part of my excitement did stem from the massive amount of guns which at that time was only a couple hundred thousand. More than the sheer number of guns though, I was excited about the way they were generated and the possibilities of finding crazy guns. What also excited me about the game was that at one point it was supposed to have procedurally generated levels/dungeons, but this is a different matter. I would say that for the most part Borderlands success has come from it being a solid and fun shooter with a great marketing campaign. Seriously who doesn't get pumped up when they hear the songs that they chose for their commercials? The bright shiny colors probably don't hurt either.
Now as for COD:MW2 I think that it's not so much the numbers popping up, or the size of the numbers, as it is the fact that you are working toward gaining in game rewards. For me I stopped playing COD4MW when I stopped gaining new and exciting weapons and attachments. I'm sure once I max out all the guns I like in MW2 I'll be done with it, but one thing that I've noticed that I haven't seen mentioned is that MW2's reward pacing seems sp"

"oe: Ok ok I've added my last name!
@Brett: Dude, you need to go buy this now! Please, support Gearbox's new IP! CODMW2, Uncharted 2, AC2 and RACFACIT (LOL) will all sell well whether we buy them right away or not, Borderlands on the other hand may not be as lucky. If you have to choose I really hope you go with Border"

"estly I've gotta say I'm somewhat nerdstar-struck that Dan Hsu actually read and replied to a post of mine, I know that's the whole point of Bitmob but it's still cool.
Hey Tom, where did you find your Fearsome Volcano and is it the same stats as mine? I found mine on the Crazy Earl mission where you collect the beer. Such a sweet premise for a mission BTW! It's somewhat odd to me if your version has the same stats because you'd think with millions of guns in the game you'd never see the same one twice, but I know I"

"ave been loving this game so much and have a laundry list of things I'd like to see them do with a sequel. I can't believe some of you guys haven't picked this game up, this is going to be one of my all time favorite games.
Some of the coolest weapons I've found include the Fearsome Volcano, a sniper with a base damage of 299, a 2.4x zoom, 95% accuracy and x4 fire element. This thing immolates your targets and any unfortunate bystanders! Another favorite is the Desert Masher revolver, it's one of the above mentioned revolver/shotguns, I don't remember the exact stats but it is definitely bad ass, it's like mixing a sniper rifle with a shotgun. The coolest thing I've found is without a doubt the Double Anarchy SMG. The one I have has an 89 round clip, and does 4x50-60 damage(again I don't remember the exact stats) with a good rate of fire. This thing is like a machine shotgun and will clear a room or clusters of enemies in a hurry!
I just can't get enough of this game though and I hope Gearbox drops a butt-ton of DLC f"

"njoyed this interview and would like to chime in with my opinion on all the Wolverine game shenanigans.
I've been irked by a lot of what's been said about this game and feel it's received a lot of unfair comments, especially from certain podcast hosts who should know better. How tacky is it to say this game is a rip off of God of War? We should be beyond that because essentially everything could be considered a "rip off" of something else. This game should be judged for what it is, a licensed movie game. Given the development time that Raven had with this game they did an amazing job of representing the character of Wolverine. Granted there are a lot of flaws with this game but when it comes down to it Raven did an outstanding job with the combat/gameplay, Wolverine just felt right.
I also don't understand where the shock is coming from with the violence/gore. How can people be surprised at the gore created by an animalistic killing machine with foot long claws that can cut through anything? Anyways, hats off to Raven for taking something that most other developers would have just used as a half assed cash in and doing the best they could with it. Imagine if Raven had the opportunity to develop another Wolverine game on a full development cycle without being bound to a movie script. That game would"
