"ching it, makes me think of that as the supposed 17th colossus. For some reason, I feel it's gonna have a Ratatouille like vibe(odd referrance I'm aware) but essentially using that creature essentially for everything since the kid himself is possibly too weak to accomplish anything. That's just my take. If it's real, I'm curious what the release date is"

"l Young (of Rolando fame) claimed that by this year's GDC, we'd have tear inducing games. But that's besides the point. Will a game ever make me cry? Though you bring several great games, I would have to point that from personal experience; I've only cried once at a movie: Requiem For A Dream(hit very close to home at the time on levels I can't explained). But, beyond that I've never shed a tear at other films or albums or shows. I've become depressed and rather emotional, but not tear inducing. I'm not posing myself as a "macho" man, but I would say it brings an interesting concept of it select mediums have a hard time inducing that as is. Games like Silent Hill and SoTC have made me emotional and depressed but never tear inducing. I hope I made sense"

"I remember correctly though, there was several things off with the game itself. The game didn't really cover say the more controversial parts of the battle. Since it was taken from soldiers accounts, it simply glossed over them since they supposedly weren't witness to it. Plus, there was also a lack of realism to it that made it appear more like Soldier of Fortune realism than say Call Of Duty. It had more video gamesque features. I remember at first hearing the game was supposed to play out like a survival horror then instead turned more like Gears of War with Red Faction like destructible environments.
The game to me would probably have been slightly just detrimental to the cause. The "visceral" disheartening aspects of feeling how a soldier would feel and witnessing the war in progress would be displaced how the shrapnel effects of misaimed grenade can be cured by crouching for five seconds only to stand up and watch the vicinity in rubble. It would be a great thing if games tackled political events, but Six Days isn't the one that will do that"
