"Man, the band's been toast for a long time.  I don't think we even made it to Rock Band 2.

It was fun while it lasted (and while the drumkit lasted).  Maybe some day we'll go on a mission from God."

Do not want."

"Not only did you make legitimately good points, but you provided solutions to the issues you took with the game.

That's some good nitpicking chief."

"Even more ironic:  now that 50 inch TVs are the norm, split screen gaming is all but dead.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers playing 4 player Goldeneye on a 19 inch screen."

"I didn't play Borderlands because it had a ton of guns.

I played it because it was a great co-op game."

"I racked up almost 300 hours played with Phantasy Star Online via Seganet.

I haven't been that hooked on a game since."

"Sonic games (even when done well) aren't great video games.

Sonic 2 is my favorite of the bunch and it's still a fun playthrough today, but the expectations that fans have for Sonic games is ridiculous.  They were great to look at and play in the early 90s, but come on- they're not even close to being on par with side scrolling Super Mario games- their closest and longest running competition."

"I must have had a crummy one in my area.

Prices were the same as anywhere else, SNES and Genesis selection was nothing more than sports games and worst of all- the clerks all had the obnoxious pre-order speech down pat like any typical Gamestop employee."

"Cool Spot was a good game."

"Agree completely.  15 hours is the sweet spot for me.  If they can add in some compelling co-op or death match, even better.  Of course there are exceptions.  I got hooked on Red Dead Redemption and poured in a lot of time to reach 100%.  But, I was equally satisfied by shorter games like Alan Wake and Limbo.

Used to love long games when I was younger and had more time and less money.  Now, there are too many games I want to play and not enough time."
