"aw Metroid Metal way back in January at Magfest. They are pretty much the only Videogame cover band that I super truly love. In my humble opinion, the Metroid Soundtracks are far more suited to Metal than any of the Megaman ones (which every other VG metal band just seems to be completely obsessed with)"

" you get a chance to check out the chipmusic concert they had there? Several good friends of mine were performing there as a warm up for the one year anniversary of 8static, which is this monthly chipmusic night in philly."

I agree with everything you've said, and I've made a conscious effort over the past few years to only buy games from Best Buy and Amazon"

"a this is an incredibly poor decision. Though I don't really have much of a problem with Maxim, There's not at much boobage as you'd might assume from the cover.
But yeah, little Timmy is in for a surprise"

"e been using the name "Dauragon" since around the time I was in junior high school in 2002. After school at the adjacent high school the computer science teachers would play Unreal Tournament:GOTY with the students. One of the first times I played with them I booted up the game and realised that I needed a screen name, so I quickly dug into my backpack to see if anything in there would provide inspiration. I found my copy of the ps2 game "The Bouncer" (that I was going to trade with a buddy after I left) and then immediately remembered my favourite character in the game: Dauragon C. Mikado, the crazed and incredibly dangerous CEO of the totalitarian Mikado Corp.
It was pretty much as simple as that. I've used the name for everything from games to emails to work logins and even my musical projects (of which I have even used samples from the game).
It's really funny how certain things stick like that. Sometimes I feel as though I'm refered to as Dauragon more than my actual name now."
