" Thanks a lot man, that was SUPER SWEET of you.  So WILL the Bitmob editor take HTML then?  Cause it doesn't really seem to have a way to preview stuff or anything like that.  So once the post didn't autocovert I just assumed I'd have to write everything in regular .txt

" Sorry I messed up here, any way to post HTML or do I have to write everything in non-html?

" Hold your head high man.  Gamepro is an awesome magazine right now and I would LOVE to be published in their pages.  Most people who will put you down, don't have a clue what it actually takes to write for ANYTHING let alone video games.  So just keep on keeping on!

" Personally, it's all ways been REALLY hard for me to go back.  I'm such a graphics whore that I usually cannot stand to look at old game graphics without wanting to hurl.  But when I have I usualy am ok, as long as it isn't anythng from the Tomb Raider generation to around the 2nd Mortal Kombat.  Before Tomb Raider, I'm usually pretty good.  I love some old games...  But mostly for their purity of gameplay not for really any other reason.  Like Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaxian, etc...  But games like Tekken, Tomb Raider, Virtua Fighter, Gran Turismo 1 and 2, don't have too many redeemable qualities.

So what I'm saying in a round about way, is that old games are good if they have excellent gameplay.  But I'm not going back for story or any feeling of nostalgia.  However, I do love watching others play these games.  Don't ask, I can't really explain it. LOL...

" Considering the length and breath of games on XBLA and PSN perhaps they would have been better served making this game in those formats.  This would hit a wide audience and also remove the subpar quality problem of putting out a game at a budget price.  I'm sure the game is great, but it's not looking like $40 great to me. How about $15-$20? Now how much would you pay? :)

" I'm all for psychological development for game characters.  But making them seem like psychologically fragile little girls when they are actually alien killing badasses kind of smacks of sexism.  Also, the very fact that the story they chose to tell was basically a crappy love story from about 60s America also probably ticked off women in general.  Maybe in Japan this type of thing is fine.  But considering they are making a global product someone probably should have run this by, *gasp* an American or UK focus group.

But as I've said before the horrible story probably doesn't hurt them at all because the target audience for this game is probably either 12 or 50.  In either case no one is taking the story terribly seriously. Lol...

" I don't think we are going to see a main story Halo for Kinect.  I think these types of motion controlled experiences are probably going to see limited appeal in the hardcore.  But I have seen a demo of Killzone 2 using the Move, that all most makes me a believer.  I'm not sure of the technology as yet, but we will have to wait and see.  Just know that the Wii and Kinect, waving around shenanigans aren't the pinnacle of motion controlling.

" I only wish more JRPGs were like Persona.  They are very cool and to me something everyone who plays RPGs should experience.
