Scavenger Hunt Turns the Internet into a Game
Written by Jasmine Maleficent Rea

Have you ever felt that this is all some sort of game, that our toil and triumph is ultimately designed to amuse someone else? If you have, you might be a bit paranoid. If you haven't, here's a reason to start. [Via Reddit/Shuffletime]

Shuffletime takes the best links across the entire Internet and turns them into a massive scavenger hunt. Each link becomes a card that has a goal and a time limit as well as a coin total. The object is to complete the card's task in the time limit in order to earn the coins.

That sounds boring, right? It isn't. The tasks are challenging and full of variety. But these aren't the only interesting things about the hunt. You may use the coins in a raffle for real prizes. So it's basically rewarding you for doing what you probably already do -- surfing the Internet while at work.

Why did you show this to me? Why? Now I'm really not going to get anything done.
