People are willing to do a lot of crazy stuff to get their 15 seconds of fame. Most of the time, these acts don't result in the destruction of gaming hardware.
A couple recently released a set of videos where they destroy each other's stuff in fits of vengeance. The girl instigates this by destroying the guy's Xbox 360 because he ignores her. Way to confirm stereotypes, honey [via Geekologie]:
What would you do if your significant other destroyed your console? Destroy their laptop, perhaps?
What a crazy bitch. She should have used a baseball bat instead of pulling off wimpy hits with a driver; her boyfriend knows the correct way to use a golf club. Personally I would just dump her ass when it comes to this.

What an odd relationship. Either that, or this is fake.

@Nick: The going theory is that both destroyed items were already broken.
I believe that, but that doesn't make me any less annoyed with the girl's call to action about girls being ignored because of video games.

Yeah, stopping by their youtube channel pretty much assures that these are fake. Stupid people wanting to be famous.

First off, I definitely agree this is staged B.S. Second, "YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.." my wife still know exactly how to get me to quit playing in a split second and head off to the bedroom.
Try harder bitch. lol.

I like that they refer to these as 'pranks'. Modding someone's Xbox to play only Grabbed by the Ghoulies is a prank, this is just senseless (and boring) destruction of property. Also, nice location scouting. I would've thought her step-dad wouldn't let her use his patio, let alone dub in his wimpering dog. The American Eagle wardrobe really pulls it all together. I'm giving this shitty attempt at a viral video a B-. Were the tie-in with Snapple a little clearer it might have been a B+. Better luck next time.

Anyone else much more impressed with the laptop video?
I stopped watching the 360 video at about 1:10. Too much talking and not enough console explosion. Someone should have told her about bats.
That laptop, however... most impressive.
