In true '80s fashion, the Deluxe Edition launched with a calculated amount of edginess. The pack-in came with the Zapper, Duck Hunt, Gyromite, and the infamous Robotic Operating Buddy (R.O.B.). Though the sluggish robot never received an overwhelming amount of support, R.O.B. was an iconic Nintendo accessory that had more use as a melee weapon than a gaming peripheral.

Gyromite was a lot easier when you just pushed the buttons on the other controller and nixed the robot smilies/cheesy.gif
