I venture plenty of us have endured a holiday rush of being bombarded with an influx of  games that one would want to play. We are then placed in a crisis mode in which we thoroughly consider our options before we placed down our hard earned money. Though we thoroughly do not consider the implications of the inordinate amount of games, it does affect our enjoyment of the games we choose to buy. As the amount of quality games become available, the more disheartened and easier disillusioned we become  of the choices we made.

To the chagrin of many people who play online, I personify a minority of gamer who seem to receive a great deal of criticism in latest generation of consoles. The criticism being?  Not using a headset or mic during multiplayer matches. With the inclusion of headsets with 360's and bluetooth headsets with select Playstation 3's, owners are expected to attempt to communicate with team mates. As my headset and bluetooth lay comfortably packed away to possibly never been seen, I can only wonder why gamer's have become so fiercely dependent on voice alone.

Many gamers, myself included, generally have an internal desire to evangelize games to others. Possibly stemming from wants of respect towards are desired medium to quite possibly share an emotion or conversation. So, one of the first people to generally get the brunt of the preaching would be a non- gaming girlfriend. Thus was my case. Attempts to make her appreciate gaming as much as me with games like Portal, PixelJunk Eden and even Rampage World Tour proved for the most part unsuccessful.
