Bitmob Giveaway: Wii Sports Resort Beach Towels
By Dan Hsu in Wii Sports Resort, contest, Bitmob Giveaway on Jul 21, 2009
We know you guys love art books. You made that very clear in the comments in our last three Bitmob Giveaways.
But do you love...towels?
Nintendo recently stopped by with Wii Sports Resort for a press-only contest to see which outlet would score the highest amount of points and win some giant bronze Wiimote trophy. Turns out I still suck at the game, although oddly enough my previously worst event, 3-point shooting, is now one of my best. Nintendo hasn't announced a winner yet, but it's certainly not me/Bitmob.
Anyway, while here, Nintendo dropped off some really nice Wii Sports Resort beach towels to give away to our readers. They're huge and made out of some super-soft space-age material only Nintendo could afford with all its soccer-mom money and that cats seem to love.
The wrinkles are because I just unpacked this towel -- and I don't iron prizes. Sadie the cat is not included.
Just comment below and we'll pick out three (3!) winners at random before Tuesday, July 28. Continental U.S. only, void where prohibited, and you must be registered on Bitmob with a real name and email address.
By the way, congrats to Ronald Zimmerman for winning the Dark Sector art book.

I will drive down from San Rafael on a work day to get the prize and meet you guys since I couldnt go to the Bar thingie you guys had.
But next BitMob thing you guys have (social Gathering) I will be there.
I was completely going to go. but I had friends coming to the bay so I had to assume the morally obligatory "San Francisco Tour Guide" role.
Next time though, next time !
Please tell me about this Buckshots, I am new in San Francisco, but not so new that I couldnt show everyone a good time.
What are those BuckShots?
Why is it cheap, and yeah Pier 39 sucked, but they wanted to go to the Magnetron stores and the stupid RocketBoat.
As for other places on Geary...I think I'd steer you down to the Mission instead. Best restaurants and bars block-for-block than any other place in the country, in my opinion.
And um, what the heck is a Magnetron store? Sounds like an ill-conceived Transformer...
P.S. Shoe, don't count this as a contest entry. Just helping out a fellow San Franciscan.
Good luck to all.
Magnetron is the stupid Refrigerator Magnet store on Pier 39.
It's basically a big Keychain/Refrigerator Magnet/I
@Joshua you should try out the Mayflower in San Rafael. Its a pretty good pub.
P.S. just started visiting this site based on my facebook feed, good stuff ya'll have here.
@EVERYONE in the bay
If you guys wanna hang out or whatever, shoot the shit about games and stuff, let me know, I dont have many friends to hang out here in NorCal. Bars and Restaurants in SF are cool to go.
