Best Obscenely Difficult Game: Henry Hatsworth and The Puzzling Adventure

It is always great to get a new IP that is as good as Henry Hatsworth, but it isn't great to find yourself holding fistfuls of your own hair after failing to perfectly hop across a platforming segment in this -- the best obscenely difficult game of 2009.

Hatsworth is one of those games that came out of nowhere and suddenly had a ton of buzz surrounding it. I tried it out on a few recommendations and was hooked. This title epitomizes the attraction to beating a game that your friend's cannot. Nothing beats following along on Twitter as one person laments the boss fight with the nurse and the old man so that you can immediately inform them of your triumph when you easily defeat that boss.

I beat this game because I'm awesome.

Man, I totally forgot about this game when thinking of my favorite 2009 games.

But did you get all of the items and beat all of the secret levels? Because, if you didn't -- as my girlfriend says to me -- you didn't really beat it.

@Jeffery I've never been a completionist. Once the credits roll, I move on. Too many other games to play.
