Geometry Wars 2 is a twin stick shooter.It's basic premise is to get as high a score as you can before you die or the time runs out.While visually stunning with absolutely no slow down no matter how much action is happening onscreen,the true beauty of the game is in its variety of game modes.With 6 game modes,ranging from scoreattack to a mode that see's you unable to fire your weapons the game makes you play in different and interesting ways.
Though fun and compelling in its own right Geometry Wars 2 becomes downright addictive with the inclusion of friends high scores.Even while your in game the next highest score and its holder are visible in the top right corner.It really adds that extra compulsion to do your best and it gives the game that one-more-go aspect that all scoreattack games should have.
