This is the best strategy game since Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea. You need to play it--here's why.

"There's a sweet place in NYC called Barcade, though it doesn't have enough games I like to keep me coming back (a lot more 80s games than 90s; think Galaga, Pacman and the like instead of Street Fighter, MvC, Time Crisis, or Crusin USA). One of the reasons I like places like Dave & Busters is because it combines alcohol and video games in a public place. That, and Skeeball.

If we are in a resurgance of pairing arcade games and alcohol in public places, I for one welcome it."

"Yea, that technology seems pretty sweet--I'm the worst at folding omlettes. I've never played Cooking Mama, but I've heard good things. As for real world "Cooking Mama integration," Maybe we'll get Oculus Rift support one day?"

"Glad you liked the post! I feel like a lot of people who enjoy the things we do have felt this way at one point or another, so I thought my own personal struggle with acceptance would help out others as well."

"Yea, my levels of obsession change depending on the game, but it's usually pretty high overall for the medium.

I'm enjoying my time so far, still getting used to the site and making posts. Hopefully I'll get a good grasp on it soon."

"You raise good points in this article. The core mechanics in the game suggest oberabundance is a good thing--perhaps that's what the developers were going for (including near infinite 1-ups)?

Sadly, Mario's game names are starting to look similar to Square's Final Fantasy marketing problem, what with all the X-2s, XIII-2s, and variants thereof. Once we hit New Super Mario Bros. 2-II, I think we'll have a real problem on our hands..."
