The annual, often times semi-annual, edition of FIFA is almost upon footbal, soccer, futebol, futbol, calcio, and voetbal.
One of the better enhancements EA has added this year - also compelled the preview to be written - is the 360 directional movement. The feature enhances dribbling by adjusting the response time. The lag when switching directions of the controlled player is very minimal, and was once a crown jewel of Konami's soccer series, PES Winning 11. With the response time being shorten, the game plays faster meaning more counter attacks and goals or awesome goalkeeping saves.
The second feature is the adjustment of the goalkeeper AI. With an hour or so of play, the keeper never seem to make dumbfounding mistakes. A neat feature is the quickness of a keeper readying himself after a block. The excitement compounds, when a keep saves a shot and also defends the second shot as well.
FIFA is always fun with an oppenent on the couch, and having fun, yet competive games withouth blaming the silly keeper AI is fixed. A negative, never I saw a keep do the Arsenal's David Seaman save agaisnt Sheffield Utd in a FA Cup match, but there is always next year.
