With the Tokyo Game Show going on and fall just around the corner, the video-game industry is buzzing with announcements, some greatly anticipated and others completely unexpected.

News Blips:

Warren Spector announces a November 30 North American release date for Epic Mickey. In addition to revealing the date of his game's much anticipated release, Spector provided Entertainment Weekly with an exclusive new trailer. CVG reports the game will release November 25 in continental Europe and November 26 in the United Kingdom. A Wii game starring a plethora of Disney characters launching just in time for the holidays? That will never sell!

Milla Jovovich says there will "definitely" be a fifth Resident Evil movie. The actress told New York Magazine there are already plans for another sequel since Resident Evil: Afterlife premiered number one at box offices worldwide last week. Jovovich said the fifth film will be an "interactive experience" relying upon fan input through outlets like Twitter. She can say the series gets new sequels because they perform well in theaters all she wants, but I think director Paul W.S. Anderson (aka her husband) just likes seeing her chop up the undead.

Famitsu confirms HD Ico and Shadow of the Colossus ports for PS3. Wal-Mart jumped the gun by listing "Ico/Shadow of the Colossus (PS3)" on its website earlier this week despite no official announcement from Sony or Team Ico, but this week's issue of Japan's popular gaming mag reveals the games are definitely on their way to PS3 in high-definition. Famitsu also indicates the games may be sold separately in Japan. Now that fans finally have confirmation, they can return to complaining about the severe lack of  information on The Last Guardian. Sega reveals the next installment in the Yakuza series will feature zombies. Rather than feuding against one another, Japanese gangsters are set to join forces against undead mobs in Ryu ga Gotoku: Of The End. Series producer Toshiro Nagoshi said the change comes as a result of the series needing to evolve. I wonder how long it will be until every game features zombies. Undead Mario, anyone? [1UP]
