"Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth also deserves mentioning. Lovecraftian horror brilliantly adapted to game format. Atmospheric, scary, insane, difficult. And actualy nauseating to me at point. A boat moving with the waves over a longer period of time saw to that."

"It was hard and it was a bit frustrating, but most of all didn't really fit well with the rest of the game. That said; I found it less of a problem than I feared at the time, having read a lot about how awful the boss fights were.
I beat Barrett with a lot of running, explosives and cover. It took quite a few tries, though."

"I never even finished Asylum, but had a blast with City. The size and freedom of movement certainly had a Iot to do with it. I also found City's indoors levels more satisfying and less tedious than Asylum's. I won't go back.
But that's not really the point. Before reading this I was thinking of replaying the Mass Effect series after I'm done with the third. It made me worry about the quality of especially the first game and if it would be worth it. In other words: I'm really not sure if going back is any good, even if you enjoyed it the first time."

"Thanks for the tip! I never got into either Diablo or Diablo II even though it was all some of my friends would talk about at the time. Now I'm beeing drawn to Diablo III by the hype and promises of sublime game design by Blizzard. If the need gets to strong, I'll do like you and try to get a trial code.
I suspect I'll end up with the same conclusion as you. Waiting for the first review that dares go in that direction - at least as far as saying that this isn't neccessarily for everyone."

"Are you sure it's not Rum Punch? Sounds like some heavy drinking has been going on..."
