Pikachu is widely considered one of the most adorable mascot characters of all time. He is joined by Hello Kitty, Sack Boy, birds, penguins, pandas and foxes. For all of Pikachu's glory, I feel he pales when he is compared to Atlus' adorable little Jack.
I may be a total girl about this, but there is something adorably squishy about Jack Frost, in any of his Hee-hoing states. Whether he is pursing personal growth, financial gain, an education, or snacks, he does so with a gleefully mischievous smile. He can even be precious while being malicious.
He has motivated me to purchase more things than I would care to admit to, but I never regret it. My Heeho-Kun will be cutely displayed forever.
This all comes to mind because of Persona 3. I've fallen back into the game now that I feel so overwhelmed with my own stress to deal with it all. Persona 3 is not an ideal choice for happiness, but no matter how many times I cast the Jack Brothers ability, I cannot help my grin.
