Spiderman hasn't have much luck in the video game realm, but with the new movie game coming out will spidey have his chance for redemption? Most of the time movie games ain't the best, Spiderman 2 was the counter for that statement. Since Ultimate Spiderman we haven't have a real good Spiderman game (Spiderman Shattered Dimensions was eh to me) We have came close with Spiderman WOS but never really succeeded.

Fun swinging was the name of the game in most Spiderman games, one of the best aspects in the game. Spiderman SD took that away offering focused combat and good level designs. Following the movies story, could be the death of this game, instead offer a brilliant 3 hour story and a huge world to explore, find spider emblems, and stop random violence. How can Beenox make this game amazing? simple take examples, Arkham City, and Infamous. Well polished side missions would be much needed, no go and kill x many enemy, and clear x many buildings, for side missions they need much more.

Will Beenox be the ones to finally fix the camera problems? Throughout Spiderman games he has been infamous for a weird camera. What Beenox needs to do is some how combined Ultimate Spiderman and Shattered dimensions, get the best of both worlds. As a huge Spidey fan i hope this is the next Spiderman 2.

Welcome to Bitmob!

I haven't played a Spider-Man game since Spider Man 2/ Ultimate Spider-Man, so I don't have an opinion on Shattered Dimensions. SD's focus on combat and level design, however, sounds like it's trying to be more like modern action games, whereas Spider-Man 2 and Ultimate were made at a time when everyone was making GTA-style open-world games. As for the camera, I think that's an issue that you can never get away from considering how swinging works. Sonic the Hedgehog games have had similar problems for years, and recent Sonic games have made a lot of use of 2D platforming sections and simple behind-the-back sequences to avoid this.

Simple: Have Rocksteady develop it.
