EDITOR'S NOTEfrom Eduardo Moutinho

Looking for some article inspiration? Check out these ideas from last month's writing challenge. The holidays keep on giving.

The Secret Santa Writing Challenge was a success, but that doesn't mean everyone got in on the fun. While most people who signed up wrote terrific articles with the topics that were given, some ideas still remain. This is only natural, and December is a particularly busy month for people.

But it would be a shame if these starting points didn't result in some thought-provoking pieces by a few of the fine folks at Bitmob. That's why I'm giving these topics another chance at life by turning them over to you, the community. Below is a complete list of available topics from the Secret Santa challenge. All you have to do is pick one of them and write an article about the chosen subject. We're not going to specifically assign anything to people since we're essentially covering the leftovers from last month's challenge, so if we have multiple takes on a point, that's fine.

The available topics are:

  • Felines in gaming

  • Is it too soon for PlayStation 4, Xbox 720, and Wii U?

  • The differences between creating a world for a game and creating a game for a world

  • The Wii isn't/is dead

  • Suspension of disbelief: How AI makes or breaks a game

So get to it, Bitmob. Give these ideas a good home, and maybe I'll even make a roundup highlighting the kind souls who do.

I actually had the topic for the Wii is/isn't dead. I got cut off in the middle of posting it the first time, and it looks like I forgot to put the tag for the writing challenge in the second time around.
