Is your living room ready for another plastic simulacrum of a real-world object designed to enhance your interactive entertainment experience? Tony Hawk: Ride offers a hopeful 'yes' vote. Our resident skaters, Jason Bertrand and Cesar Quintero, disagree. But if you didn't grow up on a board, like Ryan O'Donnell, you may find more here to enjoy. Now that the skating game genre is finally a competitive space, it's good to see the latest Tony Hawk is doing something interesting, at least -- even if it's not exactly an unmitigated success.

It's no secret: Ryan and I love Assassin's Creed. We adored the first game in spite of its flaws, and Ryan has called the second incarnation one of his "favorite games of all time." So, big shocker, we had to give Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines a try. Far more akin to the original Creed than 2, Bloodlines is nonetheless a worthy addition for fans (us), or as an entry point if the PSP is your only opportunity to experience the series. Watch the show after the break!

I'm looking forward to the Tony Hawk: Ride segment. Should be entertaining.

Surprised that you guys really liked Tony Hawk: Ride. I hated it, but I can see where you guys were coming from. However, I was really caught off guard because of all the positive praise for Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines. I hated how the game's difficulty was inconsistent, and how the camera was a chore to use.
