Final Fantasy VI's beautiful Narshe recreated in Minecraft

Few games hold a dearer place in my heart than Final Fantasy VI. Despite existing in a time before high definition graphics and fancy polygon models, the Super Nintendo role-playing title featured some of the best looking art I've seen.

One of the most awe-striking locations in the game was Narshe, a snowy, industrial town that serves as the first major location players visit. And now you can experience the beautiful scene in Minecraft. You can watch the video below or download the world so that you can explore Narshe yourself.

That's gorgeous. I think it shows, more than anything else, how strong FF6's visual direction was to begin with. Even in Minecraft it sets a completely unique atmosphere.
