Mortal Kombat: Known throughout the gaming world for its violence and gore.  Spine-ripping Brutalities and copious amount of blood has made mothers across the country cry foul and lock their children up for fear of the game tainting their innocent, pure minds.

But, was there a chance that everyone was looking at the wrong game?  Is it possible that there is a game so violent, so terrible, yet so subtle, that it passed by everyone's radars?

Oh, there was a game.  There was.

Super Mario Bros. is not a children's game.  At all.  Don't let Nintendo lie to you; behind its simple 8-bit demeanor is an incredibly violent, almost grim dark world.  Let's refer to the game's instruction booklet:

Oh, that's not so-- wait, they turned the citizens into bricks?  Like the ones Mario breaks for coins?  That's right, Mario kills innocent victims in order to get one step closer to buying him another life.  And people say Wario is greedy.

Then there is the brutal method with which Mario kills the enemies that can actually fight back.  There are few more brutal methods of killing someone than stomping their brains out.  And really, what did the Goombas ever do than wander to the wrong place at the wrong time?  Poor guys.

Super Mario Bros. is far more violent than many games out there.  The genius in it is how well it hides its senseless violence.  With its colorful graphics and happy tunes, you never think about how you are tragically ripping the Mushroom Kingdom apart.  Mario has flown under everyone's radars on how truly violent it is.  You could even say...
