Modern Warfare 2 New York City Launch Event

Infinity Ward invaded Union Square in New York City Monday night to celebrate the midnight launch of Modern Warfare 2. DJ Jazzy Jeff played as gamers lined up at rows of consoles under a huge tent, while in a VIP area, such quasi-celebs as Major Nelson of Microsoft and actual celebs as actor James Gandolfini generally milled about, along with other supposedly famous people I didn't recognize.

Check out our photo gallery of the event below. (Sorry about the photo quality; I only had my iPhone on me!)

My line was nowhere NEAR as epic. Filled with loud, unfunny, moronic cavemen. Ugh.
