Minecraft developer Mojang wins the legal scrap against Bethesda over the word "scrolls," cementing its place in the book of Lawsuits for Dumb Things. "We won the interim injunction! We can keep using the name 'Scrolls,'" Mojang founder Markus "Notch" Persson said in a tweet. "Zenimax/Bethesda can still appeal the ruling, but I'm very happy. We never meant to infringe on anything Bethesda does, and this means we didn't." Look for a future lawsuit regarding Bethesda's usage of the word "creeper" to describe the spiders of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim in the future.

EA's glossy infograph of Battlefield 3's multiplayer beta statistics spells doom for Internet users, New Yorkers, and the city of Shanghai. Of particular note is the longest headshot recorded at 635.6 meters, or just a smidgen under the farthest distance traveled by a kicked puppy on the Moon. What? I'm just following a trend here!

Link didn't take that "Ambidexterity 101" course during Hero School for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Nintendo told Kotaku that Link's sword remains in his right hand even if a left-handed player uses the Wii Remote. Purists argue Link is left-handed. Realists are content with the enemy dying by any means possible. I'm happy if I can complete a Wii game without causing major facial damage to anyone nearby.
