Why hang a boring old mirror on the wall when you can have a Portal? Using a oval mirror from IKEA, modeling paint, rubber cement, and inspiration from Valve's popular adventure/puzzle game, a talented Swede created a dimensional portal without the help of those eggheads at Aperture Science. [Game Reactor via Gameranx]:

The creator of this simple-yet-perfect dimensional window offers a quick tutorial on how to make your own on his site. The best part is you don't even have to listen to GLaDOS's shrill voice tell you what you're doing wrong, leaving your more time to focus on criticism from your significant other instead!
