There are some things in life that just are not worth it. When I was in high school, I dated a girl that is a prime example. If I were to be as sexist enough to give her a numbered rating, I'd say that she was a solid 9, while I barely passed as a 7 (as far as you know, I'm a 10 now that I'm all manly and crap)... but I'm not sexist enough to do such a thing. But essentially, in my vanity filled mind, it was good situation for me. Mmm ... it was good. At least for a while.

I'm Native Canadian. Which is the Canadian equivalant of Native American. ... American Indian. Aboriginal. To tell you the truth, I don't know anymore. You see, around my parts, we're known as any number of magical things. But that goes with the territory I guess. Next time Cristopher Columbus stumbles unto you're people thinking he's in India, you may suffer from identity crisis too.

Before I begin, you’ll notice that I’m not going to touch on every little thing. I’m only bringing up what had an impact on me. I know it's long... sorry.

I've been trying to catch up on my backlog of games. I own a good number of games that I just havent gotten around to playing. It would be easier for me if the games were just current gen. But the games go back further than just Ninja Gaiden II and the Tom Clancy titles.

I bought both Viewtiful Joe games from the bargain bin many moons ago at the low, low price of 10 dollars each. But, other than taking them out of their stubborn plastic wrapping paper, I've yet to touch them. But I have every intention of molesting those poor unused copies.

Let's not forget X-box (original recipe) gems like Oddworld: Strangers Wrath and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. And what of the PS2 greats like Kingdom Hearts 2, The Mark of Kri and getting around to finishing Final Fantasy XII.

I can go back another generation and painfully declare that I havent played my copy of Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete or how I have yet to see the underappreciated Dreamcast hack-and-slash Record of Lodoss War to completion.

Perhaps the greatest sin of all, however comes with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I put in a good 10 hours or so into it before being distracted by the likes of God knows what.

This isnt even a complete list. It fails to list the lesser titles such as Final Fantasy X-2, Silent Hill 3, or even Star Ocean: Til the End of Time and so forth.

To top all this off, E3 is days away and is set to reveal even more games that will, at a future time, fight for my attentions. My greatest fear is that my older, less current consoles will be in a state of perpetual blue balls for a very, very long time. Living them bitter and left to fend for themselves.

I guess I shouldnt complain. At least I shook my World of Warcraft habit, leaving me with more time for exploritory endeavours. I guess I'll just take it one game at a time... adding to the pile when the need hits.
