I had heard of this place in Brooklyn for a long time that had old 80's arcade games and served drinks as well. I always wanted to go but did not feel like jack-assing all the way to Brooklyn. So when I heard that a another one was opening right down the road in Jersey City I was dying to go. I went yesterday and here my impressions.

The game selection is here. http://barcadejerseycity.com/games/ (I am too tired to type them all out.) I loved the Star Wars flight game and I had only played it as a bonus in Rebel Strike. I got fourth on the top scores. I played Donkey Kong to unleash my inner King of Kong but found it difficult to control Mario because the stick was so loose. I then jumped right to Mario Bros. which I got top score on the machine (though I think it was reset recently). I also played Rampage, Punch-Out (which is really hard in arcades), Golden Axe, Spyhunter, and one or two others. I had fun though some of the sticks were really loose and a few games were down like Tetris. So as for gaming it is a lot fun even though these games are before my time. As for the drinks they only serve micro-brews. I started with a shot and Fisherman's Brew. I kept the brew's coming and the games got better. All-in-all A really great place to visit if you are in or near NYC.
