One of our very own Bitmob community members and writers, Ben Cook, just put out a new indie game, a side-scroller called All the Bad Parts. Ben gave us an Xbox 360 download code to try it out (it's also coming to PC, by the way), but we just thought of a cool idea.

Why not let a fellow Bitmob user take a crack at it?

So yes, we're offering up the code to one of you guys in exchange for a Bitmob article on the game (it can be a review...or something more creative than that if you'd like). Just comment below and tell us that you'd like to write about Ben's li'l baby (make sure you actually have time to do it!). We'll pick out a winner on Monday and send you the Xbox 360 download code via the email address you registered with on Bitmob.

UPDATE: Here's the review, from Michael Rousseau.

As it's an Indie title, in which case I can't play it here in Australia. Would have loved to have given it a crack though. Congrats to Ben on the release!

Xbox Indie Games are blocked in Australia?

There's no Indie channel on the Aussie XBLM. Would have to do with our bat shit-crazy classification system. No indie developer would bother to pay to get their game classified and - don't get me wrong - that is completely understandable.

Oh, yes please oh please yes please! Over here, teach! I play several indie games a week, far more than the big budget titles. They're my bread and butter! That second trailer looks pre-tay good...

As a human being who writes about video games, I'm the clear choice for this assignment.

Indie beat-em-up? Sign me up. If there's one genre that's lopsidedly represented in my library, it's the old school beat-em-up. My all-time favorite game is River City Ransom. Sure, I've also got the standards: Streets of Rage, Final Fight, Double Dragon 2, Turtles in Time. I've also got some real stinkers, including The Combatribes and—shudder—The Bouncer. I'm thrilled at the rebirth we're seeing with Castle Crashers, Scott Pilgrim, and Charlie Murder. And I'd love the opportunity to review All The Bad Parts, which I promise to give a fair evaluation in consideration of its heritage and execution.
