I was really hyped when this game first game out, im now on the penultimate chapter and iv got to say im kind of disappointed.
The story is very in depth and keeps your attention.
The graphics are stunning, especially in the cut scenes.
What let me down is the gameplay.
The gameplay is very linear, you follow around a preset path with a preset battle team for a very long time, by long time im talking tens of hours. Finally you reach a point in which the game finally opens up, i was thinking that this would hopefully redeem the game for me, unfortunately not.
If you don't want to partake in little side battles then the non linear element of the game lasts 5 minutes and your straight back on to the pre set path.
All in all its not a terrible game, but not a groundbreaking one either.
If your a fan of the series, you'll love the story, if not i think you'll still enjoy the story.
Im not so sure either party will enjoy the gameplay much though.
