This week, GameXplain's Micah Seff and Andre Segers join Bitmob's Aaron Thomas and Demian Linn. The group talks shop about about games featuring restrictive movement, female protagonists, great intros, titles that would be impressive to someone from the past, and which consoles they never got to own.

Yep, Super Nintendo for me, too.  I went from an NES to an N64, and played as much SNES as I could at my cousins' house.

The question about going back in time and which games you would show is such an amusing thought to entertain. I think I have a few good examples of games. If you went back to the Atari/Colecovision days it would really just take a modern metroidvania or side scroller to blow them away. If you showed them something entirely in 3D, like an open world game or a really intense FPS,I just think it would be too much for their primitive gaming minds to process and it would be a sensory overload.

However, If you showed them something like Shadow Complex, Bionic Commando Rearmed, and Geometry Wars, which are really just hyper-evolved versions of games they were playing in their time, they would be truly impressed.
