Demian Linn is joined by all sorts of special guest this week. Jason Wilson asks if folks are still playing LittleBigPlanet. Ryan O'Donnell from the world-famous Co-Op show talks "good game design gone bad." 1UP's Matt Leone shares his thoughts on Borderlands' box art. Not to be outdone, Demian peers into the future to find out if the next generation of consoles will have optical media.

Everything's going great until you, the community gets involved. You just had to ask about the girliest games that everyone owns, didn't you? Well, you asked the question so you had better be prepared to listen to the answers.

Bitmob.com - Mobcast #16: On this week's Mobcast Demian Linn, Jason Wilson, Ryan O'Donnell, and Matt Leone discuss the Borderlands box art, whether or not anyone's still playing LittleBigPlanet, good games gone bad, the future of optical media, and the girliest games they own. E-mail the crew at letters@Bitmob.com.

@Toby - SOMEONE (hint hint) should do a article about some good LBP levels to play! So, is the fly okay?

The Borderlands box art isn't all that shocking first off. Second, who the hell are you guys to say what game a parent should and shouldn't buy for their children? Do any of you even have kids? A good parent decides for themselves what they allow their children to play or watch, not some letter on the box.

I really liked the podcast this week. And a quick note to Mr. O'Donnell, I love the Co-Op show. Now to my point. I bought little Big Planet on day one and really enjoy it. I don't personally create levels but have a few friends who do. I have really liked the improvements that have been made to the search engine over the last year because it is much easier to find the best levels to play. When I saw that -Is anyone still playing Little Big Planet?- as a topic I was very excited. I don't play LB often now but once or twice a month I go to http://www.littlebigplanetoid.com/levels and check out the top 10 and try out a few of the levels. I recommend the site if you’re having problems finding good LBP levels. I was writing because I was curious how long before the show everyone knows what the topic is? I ask this because it didn't seem like anyone did any research on Little Big recently and that really hurt that portion of the podcast. It would have been great if someone had found a few good websites to go to for great levels or found tips on how to get the best levels brought to the top. http://www.littlebigplanetoid.com/levels I feel one thing Little Big Planet could do to have a huge rebirth is to make a large downloadable Map/Level/Character pack with Disney characters in Disney settings. They could also resell the retail box in stores with these new levels/new box art (include Disney characters with sack boy). I'm sure getting Disney to partner up with MM would be a challenge but if it happened I feel the resurgence might match the first year sells numbers.

Great show this week! The editing, at least from what I heard, was non existent. Keep it up!

There is a lot of good levels out there and think each person on this podcast should try again. It has over 1,000,000 levels by users made :)

I hate to nit pick, but Urban Chaos (RockSteady's first game) is an overlooked gem. Its not backwards compatible, but for a shooter from the Xbox era, it has quite a bit of depth including upgrades to gear, bonus missions, requirements for arresting enemies or saving civilians, nicely functioning shield mechanic and a solid variety of modern/police weapons. Sure, its not Borderlands or anything, but for the era, its quite a nice first project.

I'd love for optical media to be gone forever. I am no asking for cartridges (although they certainly are the best format videogames have ever been in), but something new maybe....
