Mass Effect 3 is in my 360 right now, but I haven't gotten to the second one yet. I did get to see Kaidan Alenko get shot a lot when my girlfriend was playing last night, though, so it's still my game of the year.

News Blips:

Developer Irrational Games has unveiled the first of BioShock Infinite's "heavy hitters": a minigun-wielding animatronic George Washington. The enemy, called a "Motorized Patriot," is probably what you'd dream about if you went to Disney World too soon after seeing The Terminator for the first time. The reveal video (below) is the first in a series; Part 2 comes out next week. I have my fingers crossed for a vampiric bald eagle that feeds on freedom. [Irrational Games]

If you missed out on Swery65's weirdo Twin-Peaks-a-thon Deadly Premonition two years ago, don't worry: It's being "remastered" for the PS3. Former Marvelous CEO Yasuhiro Wada told Joystiq today that his newly founded company, Toybox Games, is working with Swery on the updated version, which will include additional content and PlayStation Move motion-control support. Expect more information at E3, but in the meantime, you can dust off all those "FK in the coffee" jokes and start wondering if it is within the Move's power to actually make that fishing minigame fun.

Warner Bros. Interactive and cloud gaming service Gaikai, Inc. have partnered up to bring Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons & Dragons Online to a web browser near you. This is a first for massively multiplayer online role-playing games. “Gaikai's game streaming service will make it easier than ever for new players to start their epic adventures in our immersive online worlds,” said Craig Alexander, Vice President of Product Development for Turbine. “Anyone wishing to try these popular MMOs can now instantly launch the games inside their web browser completely eliminating any download wait times.” "Try" is the operative word there; according to this FAQ on the LOTRO site, cloud-based play is currently limited to one hour, after which players will need to download the client. Still, it's pretty impressive news, although I'm not sure a download time has ever been the deciding factor as to whether or not one plays a particular game. Usually, it's the game.
