Zynga seem to be going out of their way to make me hate them with Empires & Allies. Even the smallest achievement is followed by a giant window window prompting you to spam your friends with what you did. I know they make a lot of money of the people who are willing to pay real money for those Empire points but they should really consider that some people are just never going to bite and tailor the experience around them.

With that said, I'm having fun. I'd love if they did away with the energy issue and just made things based on time limits (as with farming and development) because I don't like thinking that I HAVE to rush back and get something done. I want to be on once or twice a day and that's it.

So that's why you were playing that kiddie Facebook game. I might check out Empires and Allies now that I've read more about it.

I started playing Farmville because a few really good friends of mine needed help. I ended up exploring the entire social gaming experience for six months and even made a few cool friends, but in the end, I'd rather play console or PC games instead of the newest version of Bejeweled lol
