Politics and religion scare the fecal matter out of me, but so do aliens, demons, and mutant wildlife. Can you name the games these monsters are from? Extra credit if you also know the beasts' names.

I recognized Phunbaba (or Humbaba), the Spider Mastermind (flippin' super chaingun), and Lavos.

Fun fact: in the fight Terra is supposed to lose against Phunbaba, use Vanish/Doom to win. Sorta. Only on the SNES version.

Storyline doesn't change because you weren't originally supposed to do that. Thankfully the developers flagged the requirement as the fight finishing instead of the precise conditions so nothing's unaffected.

Not without a cheat device. The scene where Kefka kills Leo is scripted. There's no way around it.

Yeah, three out of 10. Some of the old bosses look scarier than I thought.

I have to say that Contra 3 is still a pain for me, after all these years. It's supposed to make me feel hardcore, but instead I end up cursing at all the super-cheap deaths. And that evil game over music.

Contra III is evil all around. Just look at that thing in #1. It has a human face, crab legs, and some sort of intestine/leg/anus thing at the back. Nasty.

I've done little else with my life. And the ones I missed, I have still played those games. I just never got the best ending in DC and I suck at ActRaiser.
