It's silly to review reviews, but if I had to rate the stories included in this community spotlight I would give them all a high-five out of a bro hug. I'm not sure how Metacritic would translate that to a ten point system.

The Darkness 2The Darkness 2
By Lonnie Adams

Lonnie isn't afraid of the dark! Well, I actually mean The Darkness 2, the new shooter from developer Digital Extremes. Lonnie enjoys his time through the fast-paced action, though he does criticize the game for only being about ten hours long. Heck, I've played first-person shooters that were closer to four hours in length. I'll take ten gladly.

Lord of the Rings Online: Rise of Isengard review
By Chandler Tate

Lord of the Rings Online is hardly the most discussed massively multiplayer game these days, but the MMO has found new life since it adopted a free-to-play model. Chandler played through the title's newest expansion, Rise of Isengard. He enjoyed the new content but didn't think there was enough there to sway those who previously disliked LOTRO.

Gachapon Effect 3
By Marcel Hoang

Marcel is talking about the multiplayer demo for Mass Effect 3 in this fun piece. He compares the system for earning new characters and guns to those machines that give you little toys inside plastic capsules. I would have laughed at you if you told me a year ago that you could reasonably compare those two things.

Soul Calibur 5 review (PS3): The soul giveth and the sword taketh away
By Tristan Damen

Does Tristan's soul still burn? A bit, but his flaming passion for the Soul Calibur series has dwindled thanks to this latest installment. He complains that a lot of the series' best features were taken out and replace with less interesting options. Luckily, the fighting mechanics are still as much fun as ever.

Mayhem + Muder + Cars = Good times
By Danny Mercado

In case you're terrible at math, I'll just tell you that Danny is reviewing the new Twisted Metal in this story. He spends a lot of time discussing what he doesn't like in the PlayStation 3 exclusive, but he's ultimately thrilled to be playing a fun car combat game again.
