Today's Community Spotlight is an interesting jumble of new experiences, dedication, and photography. Gerard Delaney leads the way with his revelation about Machinarium's attempts to reach non-adventure game players. Rachel Jagielski shares her favorite gaming conversations, while Tony DaSilva discovers that XBLA has blossomed into a beautiful lady -- figuratively, of course.

Meanwhile, Brian Taylor shares how he captured the essence of E3 2009 in pictures and Eric R. Cummings recounts the amazing story of Twin Galaxies' Patrick Scott Patterson. Lance Darnell rounds out the spotlight with his Twitterview of Evan Killham.

The Machinarium Conversion Program
By Gerard Delaney
Machinarium is an absolutely stunning adventure game. Trouble is, it's an adventure game. Many gamers like Gerard, who honed his twitch reflexes on consoles, lack the skills necessary to get the most out of the genre. Thankfully, it seems the developers of Machinarium are completely aware of that and offer a bridge to ease gamers into the adventure genre. Gerard explains.

My Top 5 Gaming Conversations
By Rachel Jagielski
Being a gamer comes with a variety of certainties. You are certain to discuss games, to play them, and to find yourself in at least one peculiar situation because of them. Rachel reflects on her top five game-related conversations.

My Xbox Is Sexy?
By Tony DaSilva
Xbox Live Arcade isn't something every 360 user taps into. Tony avoided it for years before he suddenly decided to give the service a chance. To his surprise, not only did he find the games on XBLA diverse and largely affordable, but he played a number of games that completely sucked him in. Welcome to the digital age, Tony.

E3 2009 in Words and Photos
By Brian Taylor
E3 2009 has come and gone, but the stories remain. Brian paints a fever dream of the expo with an artistic explosion of photographs. His goal was to capture the real feel of E3 through photography -- and he succeeds.

Rise of the Phoenix
By Eric R. Cummings
Eric is a frequent contributor to scorekeeping organization Twin Galaxies and has had run-ins with a lot of big names, including PSP, aka former wrestler Patrick Scott Patterson. Patterson believes that anyone can do anything and even started a film project dedicated to the belief. PSP sounds like a pretty cool dude and holds over 395 gaming records. Eric takes you on the journey of how Patterson got where he is today and how dedicated he is to his cause.

A Twitterview with Evan Killham
By Lance Darnell
Evan has drifted around Bitmob since we started and has an awesome last name. Recently he participated in Extra Life, where he played games for 24 hours to raise money for Children's Hospital. Evan is a dedicated guy, and that shows in his work. But he's also a slippery character when it comes to answering Lance's questions. Perhaps he has a future in politics?

Ha...drifted? I'm a drifter? You don't wanna get mixed up with a guy like me. I'm a loner, Jasmine. A rebel.
