I love how everyone keeps saying it's now "free to play." It's always been "free to play." It's just now "free to own."
For example, Guild Wars was a "free to play" MMO. You still had to buy the game, but it didn't have a monthly subscription fee like World of Warcraft. That's where the term "free to play" originated; it just meant "doesn't require an ongoing subscription fee."
