In Journey, you play as someone made out of cloth who awakens in a vast, barren desert. For me, days like that usually follow nights of heavy drinking.

• The weather-controlling Storm makes her electric debut in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Thanks to the popularity of the X-Men cartoon during the 1990s, I find her threats of violence by nature to be surprisingly nostalgic.
• Monday Night Combat is headed over to Steam, complete with keyboard and mouse support (read: characters use the accessories as weapons). I wonder if developer Uber Entertainment took inspiration for this from that Silicon Valley fight club?
• When a regular boulder just isn't enough to adequately destroy the enemy's defenses, power-ups can give you the upper hand. Rock of Ages features flame, armor, wing, and other upgrades for your face-adorned boulder protagonist. Yeah, just watch the video.
