In this edition of Weekend Recap, Sony plans to murder movie-goers, an Xbox 360 bundle could potentially ruin Christmas, and Pixar characters take over Kinect.

The Soul Calibur series is known for its guest fighters. To keep the tradition alive, Ezio Auditore, star of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, will join the cast of Soul Calibur 5. As cool as Ezio is, I would rather have Soul Calibur characters terrorizing the Pope in Assassin’s Creed.

Developer Double Fine got gay (happy) with Sesame Street in Once Upon a Monster, and now they’re bringing Pixar characters to Xbox 360’s Kinect. My 11-year-old niece has lost interest in Disney products, but not me....
After almost 20 years of voicing the Joker in Batman animated movies and video games, actor Mark Hamill has decided to call it quits. "I've enjoyed every minute behind the wheel of the Crown Prince's crazy car. I'm going to miss him more than I can say!" If you’ll miss him so much…why stop, Mark, why stop?

This holiday season will see two new 250GB Xbox 360 bundles from Microsoft. For $299.99, you get a slim console with Halo: Reach and Fable 3. If there’s extra cash in your wallet, you might want to go for the $399.99 bundle, which includes a console, Kinect sensor, and two games: Kinect Adventures and Carnival Games: Monkey See Monkey Do. Not sure which bundle to get for your kids? Depends on how naughty they've been.

Movies based on video games are always fantastic and Oscar-worthy, so you’ll be happy to know Sony Pictures is in talks with Ubisoft to make a live-action film based on Assassin’s Creed. If we’re lucky, Nicolas Cage will be cast as Altaïr, and Miley Cyrus as Lucy Stillman.
