I still WRITE, though. Just not about video games only. I've never given shit advice to a single person who's ever asked me, and honestly if people are willing to dispense advice consisting solely of "give up" I'd reply with "if I wanted to hear that kind of BS I'd have just asked myself for advice, douchebag."
Here's a piece of advice that most people give out, but people hardly understand. Find a niche. No, I'm serious. Find a specific kind of audience that you know you can speak to, and hammer it to hell. If your speciality is solely JRPG's with jailbait protagonists and the potentially illegal sexual situations they get caught up in, then chase the hell out of it. Your experience and knowledge in a given field will show and people who want to genuinely be entertained or informed will seek out the best possible avenues for it.
Also, fuck the "inner circle". Make your own circle in your free time and play by your own rules. You won't make near as much money, but the freedom to be yourself and follow your own ideals and disciplines will be well worth the effort."
I'm HOPING the 720 thing is just a misunderstanding, though. Otherwise that's just a clousterfukken waiting to happen."
I have a question. When the ed's proofread the article, there were some mistakes made that I feel kinda bring down the quality of the article. The numbers were removed from my listing, but only 2/3rds of them. The Dreamcast keyboard and N64 Transfer Pak still have numbers 5 and 4 next to them.
The chromatics of when I "revisited" Marky Mark are also a bit skewed. I made a passing reference that I had already played the game recently (within the past year) when I was working on my publication. When that sentence was rewritten it seems to detract the flow.
I just wanted to know, am I allowed to edit the article myself and take out the numbers? Or is it now something that the Bitmob ed's have to do because the article has been promoted?"
I never played Mario Golf or Tennis. Or owned them, rather. A friend of mine had the games and I hated them. I don't like sports games at all, and fluffy whimsical sports games with Nintendo characters are just as bad to me. I understand the appeal of Mario Golf and Tennis but I still didn't like the games. From an objective standpoint I looked at the games compatible with the Transfer Pak in NA only: Pokemon, Perfect Dark, Mickey, and two sports games. That's not cool to me, especially when there were tons of other games in Japan in varying genres.
Back in the 90's the Transfer Pak probably was a better deal than having two Game Boys, but today it's just kinda clunky. I put it in the list mostly because of how poorly it has aged and that it's not really useful once it's been driven into the ground. :("
(Also, I study and learn about cetaceans as a hobby. Dolphins, I'm assuming the common bottlenose, don't generally maul the faces of each other to say hello. Dolphins rake each other with their teeth as part of mating habits, and it's usually done on their fins. You know. Just so you know. XD)"
What I am interested in are glitch Pokemon from the Red/Green Japanese game. If there's a different roster between Red/Blue and Yellow, then there is no doubt in my mind Red/Green has some interesting stuff!
Thanks for the thumbs up! :)"
But honestly, after doing THAT? Never again. Never."
