Controls can make or break a game. A complicated or just plain bad input layout can ruin an otherwise good experience.

"Haha love the flowchart. Ah the days when I used to play FPS religiously. Now I find it hard to get back into them. They just don't do it for me anymore."

"The disabled gamer is a great point as to why this feature needs to be added. Thinking about it, Halo is the only game that comes to mind that comes close to custom controls, with tons of different layouts. But yes, I would love to have more control over the button layout."

"Great read, I wrote an article on the Wii U's controller as well. In my opinion, I feel that gameplay revolving around the use of a controller, is getting a little tiring. I go back to my Wii sometimes to play Smash and as I'm playing I just think to myself "I don't want to do this anymore". I mean, we haven't seen exactly how the controller will function with other games so I will hold back my doubt for a little longer, but I think Nintendo made a huge mistake with this. The controller isn't as simple, pick-up and play like minded as the Wii controller was so that will push away the "parents" side of the market, and for hardcore gamers we have other, arguably better, gateways into hardcore gaming in the PS3 and Xbox. I just have a hard time seeing who exactly this is for, only time will tell I guess. "

The gun was good for Duck hunt and Hogan Alley, and I can't even remember what the power glove was used for, and let's just forget the virtual boy even happened. Good point to though and I should have put them in t"
