Despite the origin and meaning of the word, gaming was rarely ever a relaxing past-time for me. It's not that I was continuously playing video games with infuriating controls, or unreasonable boss-fights, but rather, my interpretation of gaming's definition had become increasingly distant from that of the media's. Most of the time that I was locked in front of a console, unholy words were spoken, controllers nearly broken, and blood-vessels were popped. These hellish actions wern't being induced by the industry's new artistic experience, no, no, they were from my journey to re-give a teabag to a 12 year-old kid online...and I loved every second of it.
