I don't use the word "epic" often, in an effort to preserve it for times like this: Damn, this Deus Ex: Human Revolution trailer is effing epic!

Video Blips:

• If you want to be a hero in the year 2027, versatile, robotic arms are a must. They slice, they dice, and you can extend your fingers to grip someone's face -- really, the possibilities are endless. [GameVideos]

Continue after the break for a Killzone 3 teaser and trailers for Guitar Hero 6 Guitar Hero: Warriors of RockTransformers: War for Cybertron, and Deathsmiles (read: death smiles, not death's miles).

• When I watch this Killzone 3 video, I imagine that those are rose petals falling in the background and the two men are fighting over their forbidden relationship. I can't quite explain the mountain of dead bodies, though. [GameVideos]

• In the new Guitar Hero, the main characters morph into crazy alter egos. I think if I were a musician who suddenly changed into a giant, leather-strapped pig, rocking out would be the last thing on my mind. [GameTrailers]

• Didn't the Autobots and Decepticons take on the form of man-made machines to blend in when they got to Earth? If this is the precursor battle to the series, then why do we see cars and planes already? I hate to be that guy, but this is gonna bug me.

• In Deathsmiles, a bunch of "lolis" (sexy, gothic, young-looking women) fly around and shoot stuff. Death might smile upon you, but judgmental peers will probably frown if you really get into this stuff. [GameTrailers]

In Deathsmiles, a bunch of "lolis" fly around and shoot down bad guys with lasers. I suppose that Death smiles on people who get into this type of game?

In Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, the main characters transform into crazy, silly alter-egos. I think if I were a musician who suddenly transformed into a giant, leather-strapped pig, rocking out would be the last thing on my mind. [GameTrailers]

Didn't the autobots and decepticons take on shapes of man-made machines to blend in when they got to Earth? If this is the precursor battle to the series, then why is Optimus Prime already a truck? I hate to be that guy, but this is gonna bug me.

@Shoe I totally agree. Just...wow. (One thing though: 2027? Really? Seventeen years from now?)

You know, out of all the crazy, futuristic stuff in that trailer, the only thing that was kind of unrealistic to me was what the news-anchor woman was wearing.

The Blur commercial was hilarious (where they poke fun at a Mario Cart spoof). I hope DE3 turns out as well as the trailer. And, I liked what the female news anchor was wearing. The whole trailer reminded me of Blade Runner.

@Tim, I wouldn't be surprised if the developers used that movie as source material.

I'm a huge fan of Deus Ex and cyberpunk in general, so the trailer for Human Revolution got me pretty pumped.
