E3 2011

The Bitmob and GamesBeat crew is heading to Los Angeles next week for the agony, ecstasy, and lack of sleep known as the Electronic Entertainment Expo. And we want you to join us!

...Well, not literally. It'd be tough to fit all of you in our luggage. But these days, you can follow a ton of E3 news from the comfort of your computer. Which means you can respond to our latest Bitmob Wants You challenge and write about it.

We've already told you about some surprises we'd like to see at the show. But we'd like to hear your thoughts as well.

Here's how this is gonna work:

1. Follow the news from E3 2012 in Los Angeles, June 5-7. You'll find a whole heap of updates on Bitmob and GamesBeat during the show, but many of the big publishers will also live-stream their press conferences. Get the news any way you can.

2. Write any article related to E3 2012. It can be an analysis of a trailer you really liked, a reaction to a big announcement, or whatever you want. Anything from the show is fair game. And be sure to include the tag E3 2012 in your article.

3. Post your articles by Tuesday, June 12. That's a few days after the show ends, so you'll have plenty of time to gather your thoughts. (But feel free to get your stuff up as soon as possible, so we can all react to it while the show is happening.)

Sound good? Then get ready, news hounds -- it's gonna be a crazy week. (We wouldn't have it any other way.)

Sounds like fun. I can't wait to see what people come up with.

Should be fun writing about the show since I'm attending this year. Just wish I was bringing a computer along. Would be so much easier to write that way.

Have fun! I went for my first time last year. Not going this time around, but I'm stoked for those that are, especially first-timers. :)
