Portal 2 hit store shelves yesterday (a bit sooner if you happen to like your potatoes), and we're ready to put our differences behind us for science. Er, for Bitmob. You monster.
We want you, noble Bitmobbers, to take a crack at writing about Valve's latest creation. We're not looking for just a standard review (although you can write one of those if you'd like) -- we want to see some creativity, some unique angles on the happenings at Aperture Science.
Here are a couple of questions to get the neurotoxin...I mean creative juices, flowing:
- What's been happening at Aperture Science since the events of the first Portal?
- The player character, Chell, doesn't speak. If she did, how would she react to her adventures?
- How would other games change if they included a portal gun?
- What's it like solving puzzles with a partner in the co-op campaign?
To join in, follow these steps:
1. Write any article related to Portal 2. Keep it concise -- about 200-400 words should do it, but you can go longer if you choose.
2. Make sure you put Portal 2 in the tags for your article -- and don't forget to tag any other games you mention.
3. Submit your article to the Mobfeed by May 3, 2011. That's not much time, but it's a short game, and we want to strike while the Aperture Science Ferrous Metallurgic Substance is at an optimum temperature.
On May 4, we'll collect the data and present your findings. So get writing!
