I like the visual style, but like you were saying, hopefully it doesn't get too repetitive. I can't believe the Xbox they were demoing it on broke down, but at least it wasn't with a Dreamcast controller this time.
Usually a game with the name Shank would have caught my eye, I can't belive I missed it.
Sounds cool. Perhaps I'll use my newfound Steam having-ness and pick it up.
