Motion controls are so last decade. The future is eye-gaze control. I know that doesn't really roll right off the tongue, but look at this guy playing World of Goo just by moving his eyes! Sadly, he still has to push a button to place those goo balls. Too bad he can't just blink to do it:

I imagine that this would hurt your eyes after a while. Still, hurray for the future and all that. Soon we'll be playing all of our games just by moving around and looking at stuff. We will cast our controllers and peripherals into an abyss, where they will never bother us with their...buttons...again.
