Freelance journalist and Active Time Babble co-host Kat Bailey joins Bitmob's Demian Linn, Dan Hsu, and Brett Bates on this week's episode of the Mobcast.

The group discusses Halo: Reach, the benefits of bite-sized releases, which platform is best for indie development, how the current extra-long console cycle is going, and which of the fall's as-yet-unreleased titles they would play if they could only have one more game until New Year's Day.

I game pretty regularly with 3-4 other people (depending on the week). We're all counting down the days until Halo:Reach. I think we're a little burned out on Modern Warfare 2 based on how the last 2 weekends have gone. We, as a group, actually rage quit last week. This past weekend, 1 of my boys rage quit after he had a 5-20 round... to go with his already abysmal night. I say again: We are counting down the days.

I'm looking forward to the campaign as well... It is Flood-less, yeah?

Wasn't expecting to hear my comment read out on the podcast! That was pretty cool :)

Also got a group waiting for Reach. Probably the only game I'm buying this holiday season which is very unusual for me. I only play Modern Warfare 2 when I can fill up a team with my friends. It's really just not worth it anymore, I can't wait for Reach's silky-smooth netcode after months of latent COD.
